11/12 Premier League Preview 2

Man City-Can push for top four again. Da Silva will be a key player this year and I think Dzeko can have a good season. Will obvious miss Tevez if he goes, but the squad is stronger this year. The defence is still not secure and Balotelli may rock the boat.

Arsenal-Should finish in the top three. They will score and undoubtedly create more than any other team, but will also waste a lot of chances and not kill off games when they should. They conceed far too many goals and with no obvious improvement in the defence yet Wenger just gets more frustrating.

Liverpool-Will push for a top four place this season. Have the ability to create and score, but another team who have a weak defence and haven't improved it yet over the Summer, only buying midfielders. Need to turn up for all the matches and not just the big games.

Spurs-Still need to sort out their defence and become more consistant. On their day can give anyone a game and should be top six.

Everton-Need a better start than last season. Could of done with some fresh signings to strengthen team
and it could be another tough year - mid table awaits.

Aston Villa-Interesting to see what type of football they play under McCleish. Although they've signed a good keeper in Given they've lost a lot of good quality players.

Fulham-Can see another steady season ahead for Fulham, but with nothing special.

Newcastle-Couple of interesting signings have strengthened squad. They will again be strong at home, but can't see past mid table. They need to sort out Barton before it upsets dressing room.

Sunderland-have spent money this summer on some decent signings and should have a much safer season this year in mid table.

Bolton-I would have fancied Bolton to have a good season up until their long term injury woes. They are very tight for strikers and it wouldn't be a surprise if Coyle tries to bring in someone quick.

Stoke-Should be safe enough again this season. They have a sturdy defence and no one likes going to the Brittania.

West Brom-They need someone else to weigh in with some goals this season and if they get Long he might just do that. They should be fine if a little boring.

Blackburn-Bottom five or thereabouts and at the moment would be worried for them.

Wolves-Have made a couple of good signings this summer and should be safe as last season they lost a lot of points with bad luck.

Wigan-Concede too easily and the DW is not exactly a fortress. I can see them struggling again.

Norwich-I hope they do well-although I'm not sure why. I think Lambert can do a good job although whether the squad is strong enough I'm not sure.

QPR-Chance to stay up if there's no boardroom turmoil and if they can get a good run at home.

Swansea-Looking forward to seeing how Brendan Rogers approaches and deals with the premiership. Could stay up and Trezeguet would be  massive signing if they can pull it off.
