Arsenal have agreed terms with the Turkish side Galatasary allowing Emmanuel Eboue to leave the Gunners. Samir Nasri's deal to also leave Arsenal and join Manchester City is believed to be getting close to finally being completed. Wenger is believed to be renewing his interest in Weder Bremens Per Mertesacker and Evertons Phil Jagielka. The club have also been in contact with Marseille enquiring about two of their players believed to be Mathieu Valbuenc and Andre Ayew. While Marseille would be open to selling Valbuenc they are adamant that Ayew is not for sale.
Chelsea today confirmed the signing of the 18 year old Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.from Anderlecht for a figure somewhere in the region of £15 - £20m. They have also had an offer of £20m for Juan Mata rejected by Valencia. There is then the possibility of Chelsea looking at Raul Meireles of Liverpool as apparently he is no longer a first choice selection following their Summer signings. Liverpool will probably look for in and around £12m.
Spurs look more like losing Modric as it's expected Chelsea will make an improved offer of £35m and Spurs aren't able to match the wages he's being offered. On the other hand Spurs are near to finalising a deal for Adebayor. His current wages of £170k per week being the main stumbling block although some sort of deal with Man City is believed to be near. Harry Redknapp is also believed to be a fan of FC Twente striker Bryan Ruiz, but will probably not make a move for him at this stage.
Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has told fans that it is the banks that are to blame for Everton not spending this Summer as they're not lending any money. The only way to bring in any players is if they sell some first. David Moyes was prepared to sell Jermaine Beckford, if he could get around £4m, but Beckford doesn't want to drop down to the Championship and wants to stay and fight for his place in the team.
Wigan have apparently signed Johan Cruyffs grandson Jessua Angoy.
QPR today announced Tony Fernandes as their new chairman and majority shareholder.They've apparently had an offer of £4m turned down by West Ham for Scott Parker.

Manchester Uniteds long running saga over Wesley Sneijder is still continuing. Reports had originally stated that Sneijder had confirmed there had been some unofficial talks with Utd. This has since been refuted by Inters president Massimo Moratti. Moratti claims that Sneijder will not be sold. It's now thought that the player may have to hand in a transfer request if he wants the move.
West Bromwich Albions Peter Odemwingie has still not signed a new deal which must be making their fans nervous. He has said that he doesn;t want to leave the club unless a top club comes in for him.
Liverpool are apparently close to a deal which will see Gary Cahill go to Anfield from Bolton. With Owen Coyle already looking at Ngog Liverpool are reportedly willing to offer around £10m plus two players including Ngog.
