No big bets being placed today as not the greatest of racing, apart from in France where the weather might be a problem. If I was to have a bet Id give Galikova a chance although it will be hard and 5/2 isn't great.
Windsor-7.10 Thistle Bird at odds of around 7/2 for George Baker and Roger Charlton is the one for me here. She showed good improvement to win her maiden two runs ago and then finished a creditable fourth on handicap debut. Is able to run off the same mark here today and should go close. At a bigger price of 10/1 Young Dottie is interesting as she's starting to run well on turf.
Thirsk-3.15 Jaldarshan is the choice for a small bet here for the in form pair of Swinbank and McDonald. He has been running well of late over a mile and is the value call in a tight race.
Thirsk-4.45 Rowan Spirit at 10/1 and on ground with some cut in it looks a nice price if only for a small bet. He has won with cut in ground before and although form before that is not great I would give him a small chance.
